Miguel Jimenez Cruz is a nationally recognized drummer, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised in Las Vegas, now based in Reno, Nevada.
He has toured and performed with artists including Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, Residente, Luis Fonsi, Y La Bamba, Satsang, Tim Snider, Cy Leo, House of Waters, and the Raiders House Band.
His performances have been featured on The Latin Grammys, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, KEXP, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and on Billboard’s Top 10 Latin Albums with Y La Bamba’s “Entre Los Dos.”
Miguel has appeared at major festivals such as Electric Forest, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Reggae Rise Up.
When not on the road, he leads his own band Cruz Control, teaches private lessons, and performs with artists throughout Northern Nevada.
